Decision Themes
Deterministic typographic systems
from relational rules
"As if a book designer found a control panel—
classical typography defined through living ratios."
It feels like the place where a traditional typographer and a front-end engineer meet for coffee: ratios, grids, rhythm and spacing on one side; instant previews, tokens, and exports on the other. Instead of guessing like most AI tools, it gives designers precise control over tokens, relationships, and theme logic, while quietly keeping everything inside sane typographic ratios, accessibility rules, and coherent, intentional systems.
Interactive Demo
Decision Themes Studio (DTS) is a front-end UI tool for building consistent, deterministic design systems—especially typographic and spacing scales—using base values and relational rules. Instead of manually defining every style, DTS applies formulas ("Decision Themes") to base design tokens ("Variable Tokens"), so changing a few inputs updates the entire theme in a predictable way.
Currently in early development
The demo shows the core concepts with limited features:
- Parametric scaling and spacing controls
- Live preview of typographic relationships
- Dynamic color system responding to parameters
- Foundation for theme-aware content rendering
* Optimized for desktop browsers
